I'll have my small 12v freezer, but it's not big enough for all the fish that will be caught this weekend

Awesome!  Look forward to meeting you!!! Keep in mind you can fish from Ninilchik to Homer. I think the group will be split between Deep Cr and Whiskey Gulch. Main camp is Whiskey Gulch. Just ask anyone with a kayak!  Chances are it's one if us!!!

Ummm .... Why don't you just fillet and put on ice till you get home? Clean fish in a well iced cooler is good for at least a week.

True that. But not only do we have daily limits, we have possession limits. It's 2 per day, 4 in possession. You have to freeze, can or do something that will hold edible conditions for 15 or some number of days. Specifically says no dry ice I think.

I'll be down three days and greedily hope to keep 6. I'll be running mine to my parents place in Kenai if I am so fortunate!

I would consider fresh state edible conditions for 15 days .... Most Americans eat fresh fish older than 15 days =)

I'm heading down after work Friday... Probably leave ANC at 6. I'll pitch my tent near you guys if there's room.

I'm sick of hearing Kardinals fish count and poundage totals... I haven't caught a halibut yet from a kayak. So for me... Anything over 10 pounds is a winner.  But just for the sake of the tournament,  I plan to catch one about 10 times that big.

Ummm, guys.... I spent the day with a hospice nurse and a hospice social worker. I'm going to make the participation call at 1 tomorrow afternoon. If my mom stabilizes, we'll see you by 7-8 Friday might.

Heading down in the morning to claim the good group spot.  I'll have a small trailer with a NWKA sticker (and other fishing/yak related stickers).  Pitch your tents or whatever nearby.

I'm hoping that drive won't be too bad tomorrow evening bc I can't leave the office much before 5.

I'll throw in quite a bit of wood so hopefully we'll have plenty even if someone forgets some. I like big fires.

It's attack of the clam diggers down here.  All the good spots were taken.  Got a spot off to the right .  Room for a few tents nearby and we have a fire ring
