Thanks again for allowing me to answer some questions in this Forum.

As you know, we have been the only Cobra Kayak full service Dealer in Oregon and we Thank all the Loyal Customers who have patronized us.

As you may have heard, the last shipment of Cobra Kayaks is coming to Astoria Mid June from New Zealand.

We are told that this will be the last shipment until further notice.  We are currently interviewing distributors for a new line of Fishing Kayaks and your suggestions would be welcome.  Based on our past manufacturer relationships, Malibu and Cobra, we will be very picky on what line we will be picking up.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding these lines.

Thanks Again!

The two brands with the strongest following in the Northwest are Ocean Kayak and Hobie. I'd say they have 75-90% of the market. With Jackson gaining ground and Tarpon just holding a small chunk.

What does this mean?  No more Cobra in the USA?

Allen,

Cobra has decided to discontinue shipments to the US based on the Kiwi/Dollar Exchange.

Scott Walker is the Distributor and Representative.

He can be reached at: Scott Walker <swalker@cobrakayaks.com>

He can give you more of the details of what we will be doing.  I do know parts are a challenge today.

Floyd
