Don't forget that this is the Oregon and Washington free fishing weekend. No license required. This is your chance to hit that out of state lake without buying an out of state license. Remember that all WDFW/ODFW rules must be followed.

It also means that your favorite launch might be more crowded than usual - plan accordingly.

At our church we use this weekend for a family fishing day on Sunday at Horseshoe lake (Kitsap County).  It is a picnic and guaranteed to catch a fish.  We let the little kids catch little bluegill all day long.  It is really fun and gets families out fishing together.  The older folks go out and try and rustle up as many yellow perch as possible to be fried up on the spot.  Fun day! ;D
