I am a complete newbie but been looking to get into kayak fishing for a while. So I woke up this morning and decided today was the day, went online and bought a Trident 13. Now that I am past the first step I need to figure out what the heck I am doing!!

I live in Mukilteo and am really looking forward to getting out on the sound, also have a place close to Hoodsport so would like to hit the Hood Canal and some lakes. Basically I am willing to go anywhere.

While I don't have tons of fishing experience I am a strong paddler both on whitewater and ocean. Look forward to hooking up soon.

Congrats on the trident 13, I hope to get one in the near future also.  Just ordered an elite 4hdi ff for my current yak.  should keep me from dropping my crab/crayfish traps in deeper than planned water.  Still have one in lake sammamish that I need to dive down about 8-10' to gab the bouy.   :o

Sweet boat! I'd love to have one of those. I'm sure there are some good NWKA folks in your neck of the woods that would love to head out with you.

Sounds like you already have ocean paddling experience - that's awesome!

Awesome! Welcome aboard. Your place out in Hoodsport will be the #$%@ when the Chum bite is on. Congrats on your new vessel. I am in Tacoma so if you are down in the south sound, shoot me a PM and we'll go.
