If anyone else is chasing salmon and bottom fish in this area tomorrow give me a shout on channel 69.  I'll be launching around 6:30 am.

Wish I could join you.  Report back if the salmon are close in.  Seems like most nooks are several miles offshore (50 fathom line); haven't gotten a coho report lately since the opener.

Btw, where are you launching from?  Been scouting possible sites myself since we have a cabin in Manzanita.  Arcadia looks real close to good structure.

Good luck!

Yes, just north of Jockey Cap, so will be trying that same offshore structure for bottom fish. And there are some coho being caught close in.  Yes, the chinook may still be further out, but I have the day off and the big C has not been offering up the goods for me. I'll report back if I get lucky.

Had to cancel due to a last minute work demand.  I've rescheduled to late July/early August when the salmon are closer.

Going for a redo tomorrow morning, in case anyone wants to join.  Channel 69, as usual.
