So I made it home safe.  1001.3 miles @14.3mpg...

I managed to catch a fish that I'm not 100% on it's ID.  can anybody verify?  Also, it was on the Barbie pole!!!

I'm going with it being a "Sand Sole".

You catch this up at PC?

Nice looking fish. I was a little let down though after noah told me you had a halibut.

Justin that looks a lot like a very nice starry flounder... called starry because of the patterns of white marks on it.
Will try to get you a comparison pic, but right now headed to the back specialist again

Justins fish is definitely NOT a "Starry Flounder".

Starry Flounder:

But the real question is the same as it always is: How did it taste?   :banjo:

right eyed
too big for a sanddab
looks kind of like a small California halibut but with a straight lateral line

That is definitely a sand sole and you can enter it under flounder for AOTY.

You would have to ask Wally.  As you know, I like to give fish away :)
