Lavacore

Has anyone tried this brand on a yak, in the surf on a board, on skies or a snow board? Any input is appreciated. The top is around $100 not sure on the pants.

Seems like overkill for a base layer .... I am a huge fan of merino wool base layers. Warm, thin, stink resistant, and keeps you warm even if soaked in sweat or sea water.
