Anybody planning on heading out of Depot Bay or Pacific City Fourth of July weekend?  I'm looking to tag along if my replacement hull arrives in time. I have all of the appropriate safety gear.  Thanks!

I'll have to double check with the wife when she gets home, but the morning of the 4th looks doable for me as long as I'm home in time for fireworks!  1st day off in 2 weeks, would love to get salty.

On busy weekends the sheriff will be writing to tickets to anyone parking in the dory launch area that does not have a sign on the dash that says "kayak launch vehicle". Hope you guys slay them!

I believe the rule is to have a sign either way. Just a little note on the dash works.

I'm up for either location Thursday, however, looking at the wave forecast, Thursday is calling for 3-4ft waves, so will keep an eye on how things flatten out or not for Thursday.

You won't need a sign if you have a trailer attached to your vehicle.  If you have a trailer it is assumed you are launching some kind of boat.
