Meet Socktopuss

Bored today. 

Found a lonely sock on the garage floor and the idea was born.   

Grab a few essentials and went to work.

Ingredients:
* 1 Lonely sock.
* 1 Big sharp hook.
* 1 8oz teardrop weight.
* A bit of 60lb mono leader.
* 1 Big snap swivel.
* 1 Green bead to help keep the hook up off the sock.
* Optional upgrade, Black sharpie for details.

You forgot to put e smiley face on it, I'm assuming it's a scented bait then?

That should work. I like trying to come up with tackle from household items.

I bumped into a guy recently who was one of the 1st people I ever saw bottom fishing from a surboard in Oregon.  He was using strips of a white T-Shirt as his jig body to great effect.  He said that he doesn't bother with plastics anymore 'cause rags work just as well for him.
