I am thinking of going out and hitting the water at first light so I can get home early to hang with the kids. If anyone wants to come and join me I wouldn't mind the company. I will be targeting salmon.

No Salmon yet. I did catch some flounder when I switched to jigging white grubs.

Where do you typically launch from?  I have not been down there but planning to soon.

You can park and put in at the park before the bridge then paddle over to where the shelf is. It's place is pretty slow for salmon until later on when the fish start showing but there are a TON of flounder. On know old Gordon caught a 15+ lb. king there last year. There is an awesome picture of him with it...How big were the flounder you pulled up if you don't mind me asking?
