F#$K the powerboats we has just as much a right to use the facilities as they do and we don't leak oil or gas into the water among other things that all power boats do rather it be a few drops or a puddle.

We are simply asking that people use some common sense and be courteous on Saturday.  We like using this area as a venue for this tournament so we'd like to maintain a good relationship with the rest of the fishing community, which will make it easier for us to rely on using it in the future.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Just an observations ... PB'ers always complain about other PB'ers at the launch, so it's not surprising they complain about us.  I've never seen kayak fishermen complain about other kayak fishermen.  In fact, we seem to go out of our way to help each other, even if we don't know each other at the launch.  All the more reason I love you guys!

Also,  the official start time/earliest launch is 5 AM and you must be back at the ramp by 2 PM for your fish to count.

Flyguy, if you're getting there at an ungodly hour, I'll take the last spot in the carpool.

Thanks for the heads up.  Good group here and I don't know how we could take any longer than a PBer.  How long does it take to pull wheels, drop in the drive, lower the rudder and hop it?  They should install a crab pot style kayak launcher on one of the piers (think deadliest catch).  That would be awesome...

Gentlemen, If some one has room I am completely in for carpooling at the earliest hour. If there's a shortage of drivers I was planning in having the lady drop me off and in that case I could take one more yak and 2 guys.

You have to test it to get the hydraulics pressure right with go pro footage.  ;D Or we could monster garage a truck bed spring launcher?

A quick reminder:  There is a launch fee at the Depoe Bay Ramp.
