Here's a quick video from last week's Hobuck trip to brag on the fish catching nature of Lancer Jigs. There are still clouds of that nasty algae bloom creating huge drifts of dark rust colored water. With those conditions I've really had to finesse fish into taking my offerings as well as scrap to find structure in clean water. These 3/4-1oz copper waterdogs haven't let me down yet!! They're  responsible for at least half my freezer stock this season!

Nice.  Wishing I had time to head out to Hobuck again.  Maybe late August or September ...

No reason for Jealousy. Get a wet or drysuit and I'll take you to that exact same place. Far more fish were caught that day, just those two were the best representatives for their species. I kept a fat 28" ling and a few other rockfish, plus released countless greenling. Those little Lancer are deadly! Just proof that elephants eat peanuts!

Anytime Randy  :occasion14:

BTW: The Kayak academy has rentals, and you should shoot for the weekend of Sep 13th if you can swing it. The whole HOW crew will be doing a little something  ;)

The boys at Hoggs-Jo Mar at the salmon clinic last night were all asking what Jammer was using on the Anglers West broadcast. I think you'll be getting an order shipping to SW Oak Street in Hillsboro.

Yes but Jammer was using a white lancer jig ? Was that a custom color just for him. They are not listed on their Lancer Jig website

There were a few of the white/white available at ORC and they sold out quickly. You could always ask, though. Maybe they'll make a batch?
