Howdy gentlemen. I come to you from Tenino, WA where I live on a small 5 acres organic farm. I a farmer from my young days back in western PA where I grew up and lived until I joined the Army. I was stationed at Ft. Lewis in 1989, and after returning from Desert Storm (Infantry), met my wife here, got settled in and here I remain. Have always loved fishing, but have been out of it for along time. My son has been into kayaking for a few years now (whitewater, not my thing- my thrill seeking days are over), and now I want to start fishing from a kayak as I see so many benefits to it.

I am involved with a lot right now - married almost 25 years, running this small farm, raising three kids, sending two off to college next year, and another starting a career in auto mechanics (already employed at 15). I am also an ordained pastor, run the bookstore at our church, and for my day job, I am the Sales Director for Olympic Arms, Inc - manufacturers of AR15's.

Can't wait of glen from you guys and starting putting together my fishing rig. Trades anyone?

Well, it comes with it's own rewards too, but adding some time soaking a worm or flipping a fly certainly helps. And yes, if you ever get tothe South Sound area, I'd love to fish with you. I need to get my kayak first though!

Still trying to find a kayak. Looking to get into a Pro Angler 14, but haven't found the right deal that wasn't half way across the country. If you lived on the coast pretty much anywhere else in the country, there are lots of good deals, but in the cold water coast of the northwest, apparently not many takers out there in the ocean. Love to get a used one, but we'll see. But yes, most definitely will be looking for a fishing partner when the time comes. Thanks for the invite!
