Just so you folks know.

The Speelyai boat ramp will close for the rest of year on September 2nd. You can still launch at Cresap through September and after that there will not be any public access to the lake until January 1, 2015.

UPDATE...just to confirm for anyone wondering, they finished this project and the ramp is open.

Water had a lot of color from recent rain and the bite was slow today.  Landed a single Koke for five hours effort.  At least 20 boats on the lake, the most I've seen for a mid-week, winter day.  No one claiming much luck.  H2O temp 44F.  Fish were marking mostly at 20' deep.  I'll be back, them Kokes have to eat sometime!
