Sunday after AOTD the ocean was blown out so we or I should say, decided to play in the surf on my T13. I was having a blast even getting rolled once, at least until I got back to camp and noticed my Elite 4 screen was fogged up and full of moisture :'( Called up Lowrance when I got home told them what happened and that it could have possibly been my fault because I noticed the nav card plug was not in all the way. They said no problem to just send it in. To my surprize they replaced it for free no questions asked, on top of that they were out of the Elite 4 and upgraded me to the Elite 4 HDI at no extra charge to me :o

The Lowrance cutomer service is by far one of the best I have ever dealed with. They were super cool on the phone and got me taken care of with no worries. Even with the Labor day weekend it only took 2 weeks from when I sent my unit in until they sent me the replacement unit. I will definately continue to use their product!

Same thing happened to me earlier this year, except riding the wave & rolling it were very much unintentional. Lost a nice pair of shades, a crab pot, and a hat...but my Lowrance was replaced within a week or so. Great company with excellent integrity.

i dropped an elite 4 dsi that i have, now has a small crack in the corner of the screen, wonder if they could do something for me? got a phone number for lowrance?

Awesome to hear, I have an Elite 5 and have been super anxious about rolling the kayak and having something go wrong with it.  Thanks for the info!

I have been told to use a piece of gorilla tape over the nav card plug to insure that it cant come unplugged.
