PC report Thursday 9/18

Got out early today to try to finish off the coho season on a positive note.  Shore break was whomping on the beach, and the dory guys were having their share of botched launches.  Hardly anyone out on the water.  Lots of porpoises around which for me has usually meant no salmon, not sure why?.  Hooked up with the first one near 170 fow, and the 2nd one on the way in around 140 ft.  The big boy tipped the scales at just over 12 pounds. 

This has been a really fantastic coho run in the ocean.  Can't wait to start targeting nooks out there!

I've seen porpoises on nearly every trip.  To me it means there are baitfish around, and hopefully no sharks  :-D
