Had a really nice little outing.  We have been just hammered the last couple of weekend with work etc. but needed to get out!  I wanted to go see if I could find a South Sound Coho, but my wife wanted to come along so we did something much more tame.  She wants to become more comfortable with the Wavewalks before she gets out on the Sound.  So we went to Clear Lake and pursued some of the abundant and willing Kokanee.  We got on the water at about 8am and left by 12ish once the ski boats and jet skis started showing up and using fishing vessles for pylons.

If you have never been on Clear lake it is a nice little lake and a great beginners lake or a great place to get kids out.  We were using downriggers and pulling a flasher with a wedding ring creation 8 inches from the flasher.  Started at 25 feet, went to 30 feet by the later part of the morning. Fish were holding about that deep in 45-65 feet of water.  We spent most of our time targeting the East side of the lake.

We kept 4 did a couple of long distance releases, and caught a few of next years fish that we tossed back and made it back home in time for the game.  Great day. ;D
