I recently had the chance to paddle and fish out of the new Wilderness Systems Thresher 140 out at the Slay Ride. I really like this boat, I think it will perform really well in the conditions we face up here in the northwest. If you are looking for a fast boat to fish big water, I would definitely check the Thresher out.
