I've used the name RV for quite some time on this forum and others, more as a lifestyle name than anything as I dearly love to get out with my "RV" and see new places. After all, here at home if I don't like my neighbors I have to live with it. When you're in an RV if you don't like the surroundings, just hook up and move on.

Now that I've found my new love"kayaking" I figured it was time to change my name here and elsewhere. I played around with a long list of name ideas, then went to Network Solutions to see which name I could get as a Web address in the .com arena. After searching for a few days, changing names I finally found www.Yak-Angler.com, this is were I'll create a blog of sorts to showcase not so much my fishing prowess; but attempt to show the online community what we do, and do my small part to help grow this sport.

The www.Yak-Angler.com website is not published as yet, if you try the link all that you'll see is an "Under construction" area on the Network Solutions site. It will take me a while to be up and running, as it's been several years since I published a website and dealt with the FTP protocols for photo and video publishing and the like; Funny too, I don't seem to remember everything I thought I once knew.

For now I've made a goofy "no Yaks" Avatar which will also change as time goes on.

So, just a note to say RV is gone and Yak-Angler is here. Now I've got to do some fishing to live up tot he handle.

Cool name change.

I'm really surprised that Yak-Angler.com wasn't already taken.  Good for you!   :icon_thumright:

Although YakAngler.com is taken. It's a very popular website back east.  It may lead to confusion.
