I don't know when I have seen projected winds so calm for so many days in a row. You'd have a hard time putting up a paper kite.

I'm hoping it holds true since I'll be out elk hunting tomorrow thru Wednesday.  Well, hopefully not thru Wednesday.  hopefully we have enough tags filled to go home sooner.  Weather is supposed to turn to crap on Wednesday.

Not sure about the Oregon coast ---- but the winds are about 40 mph in SW Washington right now.

Hope it will lay down for your hunt Andrew. Good luck.

Pm me your phone number and I can give you a little intel Friday. We (wife and I) can stop by KOA when we come home if you'll be there around dark - thirty.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Forecast at least is for the winds to lay down during the night and be pretty light by tomorrow morning.

We'll be at the campground Friday night unless we get an elk late in the afternoon.  If that happens we might not get back to the cabin until well after midnight.  I'll PM you my number in a minute.

I'd like to get out in salt as well, but will be watching the forecast tomorrow to see how Saturday is shaping up.
