The kayak fishing season is about over for the year.  The north end of Salmon Lake, which is south of Seeley Lake, has frozen over.

The south end of the lake is still open, and other lakes in the area are still open, but that won't last long.  It was -10 degrees F when I started hunting on November 14 and 15, and zero when I started on November 16.  And a friend who lives on the north end of Salmon Lake reported a temperature of -25 degrees F a few days earlier.

It's about time to pack up the kayak fishing gear and dig out the ice fishing gear.

Dang it, I was going to do the same thing.  I'll try to post pictures before you do.

Unfortunately, a Mirage Drive doesn't work well on the ice, so I'll need to paddle my kayak.
