Here's a little video that'll make you appreciate late summer salmon fishing all that much more.

AWESOME!!!!!!  That looked COLD!!!!!!  Love the video of the strike! More so than seeing the actual fish, I'd almost prefer a segment of just take downs!

You need to relocate to Alaska to show all us "fair weather" fisherman how to get'er done!!!!!!!

You guys crack me up!

As I was putting this together, I kept thinking "Wow, this is like one of Rudy's non-stop action videos!"

I did have at least a half dozen take-downs that didn't stick on this trip.  I think I even have 4 of them on video.  From this summer, I have at least a half dozen other take-downs that didn't stick on video.  Maybe I'll compile that stuff....someday....

Awesome video, Mark! That really paints an accurate picture for the day: bite was hot, everything else was cold. I was able to get some footage when I was out on Wed. It was all about keeping the camera on so it was warm enough to operate.

I loved the video Mark, and  I like the use of the portmanteau of "snow" and "coho". But, I worry the post title is going to confuse our Washingtonian brethren who will be looking for a cold weather Snohomish River report.

Never mind, I just realized most of our post titles probably confuse them anyway.    Carry on.

No confusion, the Snoqualmie has been renamed as the Snocrummie or just plain Crummy based on how it's fishing this fall.

Real fish, and apparently Real Fishermen can be found to the south. Great effort.

No confusion here, just envious of the fish porn. Thanks for showing how to get'er done Mark

No question about it.  Snopro has the coldest cohones BY FAR.
Take a look at the Picture of the Month for proof.

Mark, that fishing looks awesome  but sure as hell not for this candy ass old Texan. If thats what it takes to catch salmon I guess me and my fish monger will get better acquainted. Really good video. Art
