Update: SOLD.

Update: Reduced to $2600, $2500 for active duty or retired military.

Do you long to feel firsthand the shame and dishonor of your significant other out-fishing you? Are you tired of loading up your kayak, driving hours to a beautiful destination, only to find it devoid of anglers, leaving you completely alone?

THEN I HAVE THE SOLUTION FOR YOU!!!

:P  Just kidding. Tandem kayak fishing is actually my favorite way to fish, and this thing MOVES with two people kicking! Actually it moves pretty good with one person kicking too. I've sustained 4mph into a headwind no problem alone, and had to punch my way back down the lower John Day recently with 10-15 mph wind and gusts to 20. No problem!

Alas, the lure of the 2015s beckons, so I am parting ways with my beautiful, sexy bright red 2014 Hobie Oasis tandem.

She's been babied from day one. She has no structural issues (i.e. cracks), and only superficial scratches on the bottom. I have maintained all metal parts with immediate Salt-Away rinses (when in the saltwater) and BoeShield T-9 marine lubricant (http://boeshield.com/). In fact I'm so picky I'll even tell you the only two places there is minor corrosion: the seat clips (the spring is not stainless, I would guess) and the brass set nut on the Mirage Drive units.

There is some minor smoothing/scuffing on the gunwales due to rubbing while transporting it upside down, but that is the best way to transport this baby.

The two mirage drives are in excellent condition and come with the Turbo Fins installed ($100 per set new) and the standard fins as backups.

The only non-factory holes are where I mounted GT-90 GearTracs in the fore and aft cockpits. See pictures below. All holes were only as big as necessary and I used marine sealant as an added precaution. The GT-90s were installed with "fullback" solid backing plates. Using these tracks you can adapt to almost any rod holder or other accessory including fish-finder mounts, etc.

Additionally you can choose between two carts I have for it:

Included:
  • Hobie Oasis tandem kayak
  • Two Hobie comfort seats with inflatable lumbar support and gel butt pad
  • Two Hobie paddles
  • Two V2 Mirage Drive units, fitted with red turbo fins (red ones go faster)
  • Two sets of standard Mirage Drive fins
  • Your choice of two plug-in kayak carts
  • $140 worth of GearTrac hardware installed
  • Drive-well plugs (for when one cockpit is empty)

I'm asking $2600 for the above. If you don't need a cart, for example, we can work something out.

Never exert energy trolling again!

Humility is important: Let your significant other out-fish you!

Scoff in disgust at lesser, paddle-driven kayaks!

Tandems are for lovers: pedal into the sunset together!

PM me, I'll get back to you.
