Hi all.

I'm New.   Still looking for a boat though.  I was hoping to get one this summer, but then work had me out on the road a bunch.

Looking forward to getting out on the water instead of fishing from the bank.

I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.

kevbro: Kevin - tan Hobie Outback or a Red Native Ultimate - depends on where and what I am fishing for. Live in Salmon Creek but will fish Or and WA.

Hey Ihop, I'm not retired but the kids are grown up and I have lots of vacation and plenty of free time... If you are looking for someone to go fishing with during the week, let me know.

David - keeps 1 kayak with boat in Portland at Roger's Marina on Marine Dr. and 1 with me most of the time.  So far just use em for site seeing.   2 years ago I rented kayaks with my daughter (10yo) on Hood Canal.  Last Summer she said how much fun we had and wanted to go again so I bought 2 beginner kayaks.  Brand new to this site but I can't wait to start fishing with it.  She and I are both excited to join the AOTY and hopefully be contenders.
Anyone who would like to show me the ropes would be welcomed.

Phillip, Beaverton.
got my hands on a NuCanoe over the summer, but after taking it through the surf zone, (yes, I made it  ;D ) I remembered how
nice it was to use my old OK scrambler through the surf and am hoping to get another OK, probably a trident before spring. Anyway,
New to the site and trying to get out often.

Yo bsteves,  Got ruined by fishing out of DB last June with the bunch at derby time.
Had a blast out there.  Love the ocean.  Just don't get out fishing enough on any of the great fishing waters we have available.
