Hello everyone,

My next addition to the kayak is going to be a fishfinder. I was checking out the different battery options and came across this website. This seems like a good deal. Small, at 2 pounds. It also comes with the charger, for only $30.
Any opinions on this battery setup will be appreciated.

You can get an 8aH battery plus charger from Cabelas for the same price.  A 2.3 Ah battery will last you more than a day, but perhaps not quite 2 days ... depending on your FF of course.

However one thing this battery charger is lacking is auto-shutoff.  Sealed Lead Acid batteries don't last that long if they get over-charged a number of times.
