Used for $2700 http://nashville.craigslist.org/boa/4871251425.html

I don't have space for parking a boat in the city (I store kayak in a spare bedroom) and it's hard to swallow paying to store a beater fishing boat.

Even if I did justify paying, I still have to drive to it, then to my fishing spot.

I could justify $2500-$3k for something that's more fun than a hobie  ;D

Check out http://www.mokai.com/the-mokai-es-kape/ . For $5,400 plus shipping you could be tooling out to your favorite fishing area at 20 mph in this cross between a jet ski and a sit-inside kayak.

And it breaks down into a tiny, easy to store capsule:

Have any of you seen people fishing from a jet ski?  Seems like it could be done, although they're low on storage space.

Before I picked up kayak fishing., I was looking at jet skis modified with an extra fuel tank. But then I realized I'm a terrible mechanic and getting stuck within kayak range was bad enough. Looks like a blast though!!!!!

Dang, fishing from a jet ski looks surprisingly similar to fishing from a kayak.  Except for the going thirty miles an hour part.  Those guys should form a group and forum called "Northwest Jet Ski Anglers."

There's a reason (or two, or ten, or a hundred) none of us have ever seen one of those Mokai's on the water.
