Nice fish Rudy!

I think that fish just came in closer to take a look at the fresh haircut.   ;D

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

Haha...probably.  Damn fish should have waited.  I was thinking to myself "Why did I cut my hair...it is Effin COLD without hair!"  Another 30 minutes and he would have likely survived.  lol.

Too bad!  Derby next week then I got to find my April fish!!!!  lol.

For some reason---- I think we will see that April salmon
and May , probably June, July and august..........

April will be a tough month.  Transition time between Homer and Whiskey Gulch.  Annual limit is 2 in marine waters so April and May fish will likely come out of Whiskey Gulch.  June I am thinking the Kasilof though it scares the heck out of me if the Kenai is closed and there are a million boats.

Then July and august?  No clue without the Kenai for July.  and I have no clue about August.  We will see!!!!!!!!

If anyone has the perserveranse Rudy--- that would have to be you.  And we have faith in you too.
The Kasilof is great by kayak. Even though I fished it more times in my Mini-drifter. You could put in at tide water fish up on the incoming then out on the ebb tide. Piece of cake.
Now we are all pulling for you to catch a king every month of the year. And I'd bet that you can !!!

LOL.  Thx Mark...no pressure.  hahaha. Kasilof Tide Water, eh...never tried it but I suppose it can be done.  I was going to really piss people off by carting my kayak into the "people hole" at the campground and just sitting in it all day long. Drift boats can't take out there...I can not only take out...I can put in!  I bet they sell a half dozen Hobies the next week...probably the sport... haha.
