Hello, I am wondering if anyone has any experience fishing around this island? I am going out next month and would love a couple tips. I have a Jackson Cuda 12ft and will probably be fishing for Salmon. Thanks for the help!

There's a guy called tsquared on here who's probably familiar with those waters. Try pm'ing him if he doesn't jump in this thread. He's an excellent angler and friendly too.

If you go out, post a report. I'm always very curious about that area.

I haven't done any fishing at Saturna but have sailed around the Island several times, not sure why you chose that area, it's nice but currents can be high in areas for a kayak, and it's off the beaten path a bit.

Hey Guys... Went out and caught a bunch of red rock crabs and 2 springs. It is a very beautiful area. I would highly recommend it, especially when the salmon fishing is in full swing.

Abstract fly, what was your method of choice for those springs?
