Hey Spot - Nice story about Sucia in Northwest Sportsman.  It showed up in yesterday's mail.  That place has sounded like fun since folks started talking about it several ( 4-5-6-?) years ago?  Taking just a couple days with minimal camp gear and kayaking across always has sounded like a pretty cool adventure for sure.  The more I hear about the San Juans it seems like local knowledge and experience are huge.

Thanks for the write up.  Makes me want to get my map out and look it over again -

I have been to Sucia many times with my sail boat, it is a great spot to kayak. Pato's Island is only 1.5 nm north and is also a nice spot to camp and it has a beautiful light house. Stewart Island can be paddled to from Roche hrbr and also has good camping and the walk to my favorite light house on turn point is not be missed.

Hrm, my NWS didn't show up this month.  Did any of my photos make it in there?

I haven't seen the finished product yet but I'm sure at least 1 made it in there.  You had some incredible images of that place.

Just saw the article, nice work! Yeah when you're out there you really get the feeling you're someplace special. And remote!
