Just getting started thanks to a friend. Still looking to make up my mind on which to get Hobie or Native. Moved back to Alaska 4 years ago and ended up with this neighbor that loves all aspects of the outdoors. We have a password/secret sign to play. If garage door is open you can bring over your Tonka Truck and play in my sandbox. Both our wives know the difference between men and boys.....PRICE OF THE TOYS. Not sure how this sandbox is going to turnout. Anyway looking forward to meeting and getting to know yall.

Moi???? Say it isn't so!! Lol.
It is a sickness. I'm stressed about my last post about WG. Told the girlfriend weather was bad so I'll probably stay in town this weekend. Oops.  Still 50/50.

Let's fish!!!!!!!

I've tried twice in the fall at Lake Louise on my way to Valdez for Labor Day Cohos.  Zilch.  I think its just a matter of time.

Definitely want to hit hidden lake this year.  Nice scenic lake with lakers, rainbows, and kokanee.

Other option might be long lake (Mile 86 Glenn). Also I have to believe there are larger lake trout in both Skilak and Kenai Lake.  They catch them to about 24 inches but given the food in those lakes, seems small.  Another back of the mind thought was to drive up Tustamena Lake road and see if I can't pedal up the kasilof river into Tustamena lake.  Small lakers and in there too.  But to be honest, with Halibut and salmon available, I rarely even try.  But I am going to try and enter 10 fish into AOTY this year so I will be looking at some point and time.

Eyeing up Lake Louise after it opens up in June or so.
