Ok so I gather this may be a shot in the dark but are there any halibut to be had in m.a.10 or 11?  I hear the occasional one taken trolling for salmon or jigging the bottom in Elliott bay but don't know if that's like saying albacore are also caught in the lower reaches by Vashon every year.  If I did want to try to explore to find possible territories what should I be looking for?  Most of my ling areas are going to be 50 to 100ft depths and salmon ill be focusing on the 50 to 140ft mostly going to be jigging and have larger 4.75oz pt wilsons and others in the range from 1oz to I think my heaviest would be somewhere around 7oz.  At any rate I just love trying to find new areas in the sound and have found a couple good spots above Lincoln park so far this year and am excited to see what else I can discover and check off my saltwater species list ;D well tight lines to all

It might be possible ....
Drag around some tuna gear while you are at it, you never know.
