Shannon called me at work this morning and it sounded red hot.

Yaktastic the fishing really sucked now stop reading.

Everyone else it was myself ,Pmmpete ,Smilingkayaker,and Smokeyangler ( in order of most distance traveled to be here) I had a great time I think the other guys did as well. I completed one of my bucket list items today, huli on return, minimal yard sale one glove and a pack of #4 hooks. The black rocks were smoking hot we all took limits and 4 Lingcod  were caught. Pete is going to be known to me as "cabby king" he drives from Montana and won't stop catching fish he can't keep, I stopped counting his cabby return. Smokeyangler can now be called the "ling king" he was tossing those back like a mad man. Smilingkayaker ....holly carp what can I say the dude was catching black rock like a basset hound catches scent his thumbs were bleeding from all the fish lips they were in. And yes he was standing up in the ocean on a hobie. Plus watch for picture uploads!!! He will be known by me as "THE MAN" he is one wild guy that loves to fish and have a great time doing it.
Thank you guys for a perfect day in the salt. Have safe trips and come back as often as you can I had a blast and donated my bounty to the guys that can't fish PC on a regular basis.
Ps. The black rocks were monsters look at the size of this monster.

What can I say guys, I have had an awesome time and caught so many fish I lost count Saturday morning....pacific city has by far topped all for me!!! I think I only made a handful of casts without bringing in huge rockfish!!! My first cast I hooked and lost a couple, stood up because I knew it was on, bam fish on, upon bringing him in a small balance issue and a big rockfish pulling the wrong way I had to abandon ship for a sec, haha but landed fish and no loss of anything barely even wet....after a quick hoot it was 4 hrs of constant action until they had to pull me back to shore..hehe....
 But really thank you everyone that I met and fished with for such a great time!!!! It couldn't have been a better time, we will all meet again and if any of you are up for it come my way and I will teach you how to stand and sight fish!!! And yes I nearly hooked a black top water today shannon even seen it!! They were on fire!!

Nice job getting these guys out there Shannon!  Pete, Smiley, smokin - way to go!  Had fun fishing with you guys on Saturday, and looking forward to fishing with you guys again.  Now - get home and get those arms rested up - only a couple months until you need to be back out here for ORC!

Well in that case let me go back and tip a few over. I heard somewhere that a Big Tuna wasn't a good tandem for two adults and I'm sitting in the solo position . I hope Smokeyangler can upload a few pictures of smilingkayaker STANDING UP on my bow in the ocean and we both stayed on board. I would say it's not a boat for two linebacker but neither is any equivalent yak and he said he would kick the ocean in it with me anytime. If we had more time he has going to stand up surf it like regular surf board so next time we're coming in early for that.
