Saturday's ocean forecast looks like a great day to launch, anybody want to go?  I can be anywhere on the coast.

There definitely biting at PC if TLW don't have plans for me or wants some quiet time I will do a PC trip if i got company. No promises on how long I will be out there ir if I can make it yet as I'm trying to recover from the tournament and PC yesterday.

Welcome junehogs!

You are right. Its looking good! I would happy to join you, but I have already committed to a group charter with some co-workers with Tradewinds out of Newport.

Surely you can find a fishing buddy out of Sunset Bay. (Roy, Dana, Chris, Merz, Jason, Dave, Josh  others...) That would be a perfect place for your first trip in the Salt with your Outback. Keep me posted the next time!

Cape k =PC and I think a few are shooting for Friday-Saturday if your new to the ocean please don't go at it alone. I'm still unsure if I'm a go.

I'm pretty sure with that forecast he won't be alone  ;)

Good advice, though!

I'm 80% there for a 8:30am-ish launch Saturday morning. Need to blow the dust off my yak hanging in the garage and gather gear during the day Friday for the remaining 20%. Looks like favorable conditions.

I'm planning on launching out of Sunset on Saturday, perhaps with a couple other guys. I'll have my radio with me, ch. 69. I'm bringing free dive gear in case the water's clear.

My buddy is itching to get his new Zodiac (knock off) out in the ocean, so we are going to head out from Depoe Bay tomorrow. Would love to take the yak out, but I've been promising this guy I would go out with him in his boat. The forecast looks great for most everywhere - get on out there...

Not going to make it out tomorrow, but I was out there today and the fishing was excellent!!

I was on the water at 8:30 and had my limit by noon!  It was by far the best bite I have seen out there in 5 trips. The first two fish I hooked into were keeper Lings!!

The lings seemed to like the medium to large twin tail grubs and I did well on black bass with smaller single tailed ones.  Saw a small cabezon caught by beefer as well as a couple of whales swimming around in 30-40 ft. of water between the rock and the beach.

Should be a great day! Enjoy.
