Went and picked up my new Slayer Propel 13 yesterday from REI.   I couldn't wait, I had it rigged and on the lake within an hour.  I made a little "first test" video with my GoPro that I will post later along with some pictures.  Over all the kayak handles great, I was able to stand up no problem, easy access to the front and rear storage areas, the seat is super comfortable, all the accessory tracks are awesome, lots of storage under the seat, plenty of room in the aft storage for a 40+ pound halibut, rudder works decent, and the Propel system takes minimal effort to operate.  The only negatives I would say is that the rudder can use some more surface area, the flush mount rod holder is pointed in a weird direction (straight forward), and there could be a few extra screws in some of the longer accessory rails.   I added 3 Scotty gearhead adapters to which I mounted my fish finder, GoPro, and rod holder. I already installed 2 Hobie thru hull wiring adapters(which are very easy to install) and I plan to install two Scotty flush mounts behind the seat with rocket tubes for my harpoon and net. Can't wait to get out Memorial weekend and put her through as real test!!!!!

That's funny cuz I tried reading your post several times and got a blank page. Can't wait to see the pictures. My wife showed interest in one then actually used in a sentence  "fish from it" unprovoked! Keeping my fingers crossed cuz she hasn't fished with me in about 15 years!

Junk Jigs "BEST USE OF ACTUAL JUNK" category - "That tape should have been a prized possession and not junk. That will be a collectors item in 30 years!” & “There sure is a lot of junk in there.”

That's pretty cool, I'm gonna see if I can fabricate something in my garage with the scrap aluminum I have laying around first and see how that works.

Yea I like it cause it contrast with the black (the color of most accessories) and it will be easy to spot if I'm ever in need of help.
