The opener is the 11th, I'm leaving Wednesday after work and getting to my spot at 10:00 with a few beers and waiting till 12:00, should only take 10 minutes to limit out.  Then we're gonna drive to WG in the morning

I have been wandering around SE Alaska for the last week+ And it just reminded me that of Alaska's 34,000 miles of coastline I still have something close to 33,900 miles of coast left to fish!

I'll be checking ferry rates for travel options for traveling with my kayak.   Saw a few folks towing their yaks off the ferry on launch wheels as we got into Ketchikan.    Hmmm.   Have to start closer to the peninsula this year I think but it's food for thought, the water looks great down here.

I'd love to take a taxi out of Seward if timing works out - late July / August some time ?

Yea. If anyone is interested in a ride share let me know. I'll likely head out around 5 on Friday. Head home on Sunday . Maybe fish the russian on the way down or back.
