Ok. When what where? Late July we should consider Seward for cohos.

Another possibility is to go somewhere totally different. Like Nancy Lake for pike. Or maybe Hidden Lake for a mixed bag.  Those would be fun relaxing get togethers versus challenging 6 ft roller kinda day.

I have to work this coming weekend but I'm down for a Whiskey Gulch Part 2 June 13 &14th or 20 & 21st if that's too soon. Same basic rules except we go by weight instead of length this time and have two winners, one for the overall heaviest fish and another for largest total combined weight for the 2 days.

If there weren't so many dam people bank fishing I would think it would be really cool to have a tournament at Ship Creek for kings. Have it go 2 hours before and after high tide.

This fall when the leaves start to change lake trout madness either Byers lake or long lake.

Byers has a kickass campground with outhouses and is a no motor lake lots of structure and depth contours but you do have to pay to camp.  I'm down with anyone that wants to crash in my campsite though.

Long lake is a little closer and is a pretty long steep and deep lake free camping no facilities.

Personal best from long lake is 17 pounds personal best from
Byers is 21

I'll be fishing, but I'm not sure where.  My freezer may be the limiting factor since its still so freakin full from last years hunting and fishing trips. I guess I could buy another one though.

July....water taxi....Seward....big fat lings....rockfish....silvers....and maybe some buts
No matter how many times the PB's tell me I'm nuts....I still smile every time I out fish them

I have been having some lower back issues from work so I didn't get out of Seward this last week on the yak.

I work for a charter here in Seward and we have been getting some nice 100+ pound fish in 40-50 FOW about 2 hours by boat from Seward.

Maybe a weekend out of Seward, one day for silvers and one day we could all chip on a taxi out to halibut grounds? I am not sure if there is anyone that already does this but I have been talking a little bit with one of our captains about doing it. I will keep looking into it...

I'll likely be heading to wg June 12 and 13th. I'd chip in on a water taxi so where . Maybe set up a base camp somewhere and stay overnight and fish fry?
