Hi all. Thanks for having me. Just trying to get into kayak angling and came across the site while researching, researching, and researching.... A lot to consider when buying a kayak I have found...

It's simple, save up $2450 and buy a Slayer Propel 12 or a Hobie Outback...lol

Welcome to the site, there's tons of great info and the people are all pretty good about sharing.

Ha-ha! Yeah I've noticed that would be the ideal way to go, but  I'm going to try to find a decent used 11'-12' sit on angling model. Much harder to find than I thought.

Welcome! Keep your eyes peeled on craigslist! You can get a hobie for under 1200 if you have the patience. Or pick up a used trident or tarpon if you dont mind paddling.

Thanks. I've been watching from Eugene to Portland every 20 minutes or so for the last couple weeks and can't find anything. Don't mind paddling and hoping to stay around $700. Thanks
