Today on Craigslist I saw an odd add:  It said:

"LOOKING FOR THE HOBIE OWNER THAT WAS IN WHITTIER ON AUG 1, 2014.
FISHING WITH HIS BUDDY.

HAVE THE DRIVE YOU LEFT ON THE BEACH.

HAVE THE SERIAL NUMBER OF YOUR DRIVE UNIT TO PICK IT UP.

It was in For Sale, boats, By Owner category.  It was posted 15 days ago or so, and was still up today.  Thought I'd re-post in case one of you lost one there.   There was no contact info on the post, so you'll have to contact through the CL website.
