Not having fished these waters before I have a silly question. Are furbags a problem in the area? I haven't ponied up for a catch cooler bag yet and I don't want to just throw the pinks in the milk crate like I do rockfish in the open ocean. I avoid fish around on a stringer, but tempted to risk fate for this event.
Better to keep ones mouth shut and presumed a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

Try using a burlap sack. Helps keep fish cool and protects from seal thieves.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Instead, use 20/0 circle hooks on everything.
  >:D

I think I have a few of those laying around.  Do salmon sharks make it that far into the sound?

Go to trader joes or costco and get you one of these for $6.99 (in-store only, whereas they're 3x that online), then throw a few frozen water/soda bottles in there) - http://www.amazon.com/Trader-Joes-Extra-Insulated-Shopping/dp/B00BAF0XQ0

A dry bag with a few frozen soda liters will work too

I would NOT dangle fish overboard. There are furbags in the area and they will pilfer if given the opportunity. Burlap or something with some ice or a frozen water bottle, etc.

I paid via paypal and will bring the waiver with me.  Probably get a bit of late start, but I'll still have plenty of time to smoke all y'alls asses.  No worries there :P :P :P :P

Not really. I'd worry about the condition of your fish more. Pinks need to be bled and iced to be their tastiest. A cheap cooler and some ice will make that happen. Dangling in the water all day and they might be crab bait. :confused3:

There's a report from back in the day that a GWS made it own there.  :angry5:

Jon, remind us all again how many pinks you've landed from your yak this season?
