I was part of the first shift of the fillet crew last year, and have helped in prep & cooking all three years I have done ORC, and one thing I can say is that there has always been an overabundance of fish. So I have the following suggestions:

1) donate as many fillets as you want
2) donate 1 lingcod, or no more than 3 rockfish, to be filleted by the crew
3) keep the cabezons to yourself
4) please leave the Chinook Bend cleaning station free for the fillet crew on Saturday afternoon. Keep your fish (whole) on ice until they are done.
5) feel free to supply beer to the crew (and stay clear of knife wielding inebriates)

**These are my suggestions only, I do not speak for any of the organizers**

I second that.

I was going to round up the beer, but I guess that's covered, right?
I'd never be able to keep up with the guys on the fillet line, so I'll fillet the fish I donate (if I catch any - never been skunked at ORC, but you never know).

We could roll a keg down to the cleaning station so the refills to the Fish Ninja's comes quicker.  :icon_thumleft:

That beer will be just fine. Don't have much space to haul wood, but can bring a little. Does Chinook Bend have any available for our use?

Just a suggestion for next year if NA will be orchestrating the ORC again, would be to set a little of the entry fee cash aside to line up some local firewood to be delivered to the campground for our use.  I have no idea what this would cost, but I have seen over the years many folks do this at various campgrounds when they are having family reunions.  Someone just shows up with a small dump truck, or 1 ton truck and "poof" there's now a 1/2 to 1 cord of wood for the week.

Just a thought.  8)

I can bring some firewood.  Not a ton, but a couple hours worth of burning.

Someone should bring a pitcher or 2 to make hydrating the fish cleaning crew a bit easier.
I plan on bringing 2 fillet knives and a honer/sharpener.
I can also bring a few hours worth of wood too.
