I will be at Kasilof this weekend so I will give updates on how the dipping is going.

Still in ANC. Argh. But my son and I plan on hitting evening low tide. Was going to force the daughter to fish at gun point but thought that's probably not the way to get her out. Lol. So to a friends house she goes.

Maybe 5pm launch ish.... Maybe earlier depending on weather.

Seward Side:

I got Susan out on the kayaks.   We toured a bit and ran the coast from Lowell Pt to Derby Cove.   Took a break there for lunch, and then fished our way back.

Juvenile Sabkefish are still abundant.  Released 20 or so across 4 kayakers - but we pretty much moved on when we got into schools.

We hit two silvers just south of Tonsina Creek.   No big schools, saw pinks jumping along the beaches.   The silver I caught was grilled for dinner. Reports on the beach were of dollies and chums snagged there.  Also heard rumors of kings caught near Tonsina - but no evidence.

Had a great trip. Thanks to Ken I got my personal best 44 inch. Also did my biggest circle. Mike thanks for saving my yak. Also got the wife's first fish at the gulch from the bank. No one laugh she thought it was so cool she wanted to mount it.

That was a pretty wicked looking irish lord... new hood ornament for your Kayak, or would it get mounted above the front door to scare away door to door salesmen?
