   Lots of un-answered questions ????

  How about it  CJ  ????

As many are aware Tanner and I jumped straight on a fligbt to a dealer camp in CA until Wednesday.  Although we are busy with our full time retail jobs we are working on getting this information as fast as we can despite being out in the mountains and preoccupied.

As soon as my wife can send the information on winners to me that will be posted.  As soon as we can accuratly figure out event costs the donation amounts will be posted as well.

I can tell you that we had 122 regustered participants with 94 of those launching on Saturday morning.  As soon as i have the monetary totals we will share those however I do not wajt to give incorrect or guessed amounts and be accused of anything other than sharing the truth.

Bare with us and we will get it all up asap for you.

By the way... Does anybody know who was filming with the video camera at the launch?
That guy was shooting for Comcast Sportsnet. Which means the footage will likely show up on a future episode of Outdoor GPS.

I understand that you are frustrated. But enough already. I am not affiliated with either Next Adventure or recently HOW. I do say that as with any year things can be crazy and frustrating. The people that are in charge a quite aware of this and are working to rectify these things for next year. It is time to move on and look forward to the next ORC. Old issues will be resolved and new issues will arise. As a group I hope that we can look past old issues, learn from them and make the next one even better.

Agreed, party foul!

One is not allowed to complain about a party that one did NOT attend.
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

Well said, Steve.

Mark, I love you to pieces man, but I'm with Steve on this one. You need to let up and cut the boys at NA some slack. They worked hard for our NWKA brothers, HOW, and the local charity. They have families and full time jobs that get in the way of getting us immediate responses. Like a lot of years past, things could have been smoother but I believe they are doing the best job they can. I'm sure they will work on improving next year but overall I'd say this year's ORC was a huge success.

Thank-you Jeff.... for posting up the results. And a big congratulations to all the winners.

I'm glad that everyone had a fun and successful ORC 2015. That's what we all want from this event. And I too hope that it will improve every year.

As some of you may have noticed-- - I am very passionate about this event. It was a very difficult decision to pull myself out of going this year. That (not being there) is some of the reason I have been so adamant about asking for information. Both prior to the event and now post event.
If my passion has aggravated or pissed off a few of you (which I believe it has based on some postings) I will apologize.. I am sorry that your panties got in a pinch. Let's all move on.........there is no need for slamming someone else. We are adults.. let's act it.

I will attempt to work with the organizing committee for next year if they will accept that. I do hope my posts have not stepped on anyone's toes too hard that they won't let that happen. We can all learn from the past ORC's and if we'll pay attention--- ORC 2016 can be the best ever. I would like to be a part of that growth. Enough said ???

Don't quote me on this (I'll probably get slammed again for no disclosure) But maybe next year I can donate an ass kicking chainsaw carving as a prize for winners. My carvings are getting a lot better..........

  Sincerely-----------Mark Collett

I don't think it was our panties that were pinched.

You read it right. Didn't you see her at the awards ceremony? Because she was pretty proud of her son, and rightfully so - that was a nice fish for the win. And I agree, the wind was getting pretty gnarly towards the end.

Sherman, I think the point is that it sounds like the winning fish was not landed by the participant who won... that kind of seems like a big deal.
