Cousin's ..... I meant Cousin's  [emoji23]  I'm still laughing at that one!  [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

Hope you sell that Trident 11 !
Yeah, I read it a couple of times and got a chuckle. Glad you were okay with me taking a shot at someone I've never met. That's one thing about this forum, seems everybody is open to a friendly ribbing from time to time.

Y'know, that's what you'd think, but give a little too much ribbing and they slap a goshdarned hat on you for months on end.

Well not really.

Ass Hat's are usually earned by dishing out a doozy or two smack talk ribs that may be a bit over the top or could borderline cause some discomfort to the receiver.  The mods/admin recognize this and slap you with Ass Hat avatar to kind of get your attention and publicly make it known you've (should I say) been kind of a dick.

As a recipient of said Ass Hat myself, I can tell you this. Once you get it, you take the hint to tone down a bit and let the others come up for air.
At the same time you can enjoy the public service announcement given to you for a week or two as the obnoxiousness wears off and everyone moves on and forgets about the ribbing.  At this point, you go ahead and change your Avatar back to your personally assigned image and all is again Kosher.

Now, I have to say I haven't really seen anyone hang onto the Ass Hat for too long as it is not exactly a prize.  With that, I wouldn't be surprised if it just disappears someday and is replaced with something less appealing to the recipient to really drive home the point of the assignment in the first place.

Gotta love the magic of forums.  8)
Speak for yourself! The Sombrero de burro is to be warn proudly.
It also serves to keep people from taking what you say too seriously. That way the mods can have a conversation similar to this.

Little Timmy: "Mr Mod, FG was being mean to me and I think he hurt my feelings"
Mod: "Hmmm .... I'm sorry you feel this way. You might be the first person to ever have their feelings hurt on the internet."
Little Timmy: "Mr. Mod you are so understanding to my plight, thank you! I thought my mother was the only one who coddled me even into adulthood, but now I have an Internet mommy to make sure my feeling are never hurt again."
Mod: "Was by chance the mean man's avatar a picture of a donkey wearing a sombrero? "
Little Timmy: "Why yes it was."
Mod: "Well Little T, that mean that he often jokes around and it's not just you. He gives everyone a hard time. Even though they usually said something dumb and deserve it.
Now you know and knowing is half the battle ..."
Little Timmy: "Thanks Mr. Mod!"

Sorry for the thread jack =)
That was awesome!

Seriously, someone buy this! I'm trying to  tell myself why I might need it :)

Noah, you should buy for your wife and then ask her if you can borrow it.

The thread title clearly says T-11, but you can call it whatever you like.  Just buy it already!
I'm sure it would fit inside your big green aircraft carrier as a back up kayak.

I already have one and still have to talk myself out of this everyday that the ad is still up.
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

Same here.  If it was a T13 it would probably be gone already.  Most likely I'd have lost the will power to resist if nobody had beaten me to it.

Noah, you should buy for your wife and then ask her if you can borrow it.

I did that once with a very nice set of Titleist irons for her birthday, once. Once.

I told her I was sure they were good, I went through the whole fitting process and everything. She didn't buy it.
