Hi all! I have been somewhat obsessed with the idea of kayak fishing for a year or so, and got a Hobie Outback about 8 months ago. I have been fishing almost every weekend and I love it. I'm in Portland and have had a great time figuring where to go. This forum has so many great ideas and helpful people!

Welcome!  It's a great way to fish and so many opportunities within a 2 hour drive!

If you have any interest in catching fall salmon from your kayak, check out Rawkfish's fall salmon clinic at Next Adventure on Tuesday.  Great chance to meet some of the local group and learn a lot in the process!
