My wife's used propel has some broken plastic brackets that hold up the seat back "see photo" the local shop here can stamp some stainless steel ones for me for $9.50 each. If I replace all of the ones in her seat and tie down points I need ten, if anyone else is interested and I can get enough ordered(25-30) cost drops under $8.00 each. If anyone wants some shoot me a pm or post up as I'm buying hers in the next 2-3 weeks.

maybe give native customer service a call and see if they can do something for you. that seems like a manufacturing/design flaw.

Even the newer boats use plastic it's industry standard I think? Look at all the other seats, do any have metal hardware? I picked it up used that way and know it's an issue because Crabbycabby broke his on a newer boat same piece. I don't have a problem spending the cash to make sure it's not ever an issue in the future , just trying to reduce the bill and help out anyone else with the same issue.

On that particular attachment location and possibly everywhere else, I would just make new ones from 3/16" UHMW plastic.  With a drill or drill press and band saw magic I'm sure I could  make something stronger than the molded plastic and truckloads cheaper than stainless.

If you wanted to stay with metal, you might even try seeing if stamped aluminum would be cheaper. It certainly would be stronger than the molded plastic ones.

With drill, plasma cutter, and band saw, I'm sure I could make aluminum ones easy enough, stainless would be a bit doable, but more of a bitch.

Does the area where the strap goes through it have to be a flat straight flat surface, or can it just be a 3/4" hole with smooth surfaces for the webbing to contact?  Drilling two holes (one bigger one for the webbing, one smaller one for the bolt) would be gravy to produce.  And round holes in UHMW plastic, or aluminum would be mucho stronger than those measly high stressed , thin walled molded factory units.

Aluminum would work just fine if I'm going to be in your neck of the woods I will bring her seat and try to hook up with you.
