Came across the site while looking into kayak fishing in the northwest and figured I had to join! Fairly new to fishing in general (my latest hobby since ending a baseball career a few years back) and more recently new to kayak fishing. Just picked up a Jackson Coosa and excited to get it all rigged up. My main focus has been bass fishing on smaller lakes, but also interested in floating the new yak down some rivers as well. If anyone knows of any good floats or honey holes in the thurston/lewis/cowlitz county area, let me know!

Looking forward to getting some good insight on kayak fishing!

Derek Jeter I presume?

Welcome to the site, lots of good folks here, I don't normally fish in that area, but I'm sure that several that do will chime in shortly.
