Allen, how deep are they trolling those set ups?

Of course it depends on what you're trolling, how fast you're trolling, and how much lead you are using.  But you could put together something that effectively works down to about 100'.

I find except to get down to 80 to 100ft, trolling sinkers are sufficient.  They also double as halibut weights.  It simplifies things greatly. I like the divers but even after "tripping" then I find them to be a PITA.  10 to 16 oz is my norm with stiff rods. 

Only in May and June for kings do I step down since I'm only fishing 10ft down and don't want my gear right under the kayak though I'm starting to think it's ok to be close.
