Trolling a diver with a humpy special (8" white flasher + 2.5" pink hoochie) caught most of the fish today. Tried other setups, but that one got hit the most by far. I'll be out at sunrise tomorrow morning in a 16' white hobie adventure. Come say hello if you're around.

Zip zero zilch nada, excluding god knows how many shakers. Was pretty quiet all around. About 200-300 boats out in the area, the vast majority being bayliner-owning googans with no idea about how to operate trailers or exhibit basic on-the-water etiquette.

Someday only kayakers will have the right of way.

I'll try that gear again, maybe one of the next few mornings.  I've rotated through most of my alternate setups by now.  I must have been on the wrong side of the point last time.   ;)

only downside to this setup is that you'll catch a TON of smolts, and they were thicker this past weekend than i've ever seen them. I heard that some hatcheries released their fish due to low and warm water conditions in the rivers. IDK, but regardless, there were tons and tons of em. Check your gear often, as sometimes they don't even register on the rod tip.
