   Hmmmmm.......

Some good morning tides this Labor Day weekend.
Thinking about going for a limit of coho at Shipwreck.

Wonder how crazy busy it'll be down there ??? ::)

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Not anywhere near what it was like the weekend we were there.  Should be plenty of fish.

I'm planning to be in the area this weekend. Any interest in meeting up one day?  I'd love to share recon and keep an eye out for "free-range yaks"  ;D I don't have a specific day set for that piece of water yet.

I've been looking a little closer to home lately--- at the Willapa River.

Much more liberal limits (4  adult salmon, release wild coho), only 5 miles from home, hardly any traffic, and much smaller water.
Took a neighbor out yesterday for his 1st time in a Hobie . We fished the afternoon tide but he was restricted in how much time he could fish. No love----but there are fish there.
Stay tuned--- this river will turn on strong........
