Almost wasn't going to fish on sunday but a last minute decision I decided to test my luck on the columbia again. Tides looked really good in the morning so I had to go lol. Second limit of the year!!! 2/4 on sunday for only 3hrs on the water with 2 of the hardest fighting fish i've encountered on the kayak. The did not want to give up lol. All with in roughly 3 hrs! First fish was on my first pass upstream, missed 2 hard bites, and then finally got another to stick! Got back in time to fillet, clean, and put everything away before 10pm this time lol.

Wednesday the tides were shifted back a little and I was taking my GF(Briana) again hoping to get her into another salmon. We launched a little later and started the troll. Not nearly as many boats. Wasn't much action happening from the boats. No nets flying. Got a light bite and didn't think anything of it. It kept lite shaking so I reel up and this smallllll coho was on the end lol. I missed one big take down and Briana had 2 take downs that didnt stick. Getting a little late right at high tide were making our last pass up then down to the launch. Ask one of the boats how he did and he said they got 3 out of the 4 people on the boat(only fish I heard caught besides mine). Right after that my line goes screaming!!!! Immediatly pulling me sideways. Tighten up my drag but not too much so it doesn't break off like last week. I get it close to the boat and beast takes more line off!!! Finally I was able to get the HAWG to the boat. Biggest Salmon of the season for me so far!

Very Nice! I was thinking it was over last Sunday. ...no takes for me or the few boaters around, not many marks.
Then, you and Hugh are killin it with multiple takes....now I gotta find time to try again.
Again, nice Hawg....

Great looking fish!  Nice to know they are still around if you put in the effort.  I love those hits when it seems like they are going top speed away from you.

Thanks for the video!  Great job on the fish.  Love the takedown while holding the rod.
